About Me

By day I am a Senior Test Engineer and by night I am a husband and father. On occasion I also get to be a "ham." Basically what that means is that I test computer software. If you are reading this blog then chances are pretty good that you are involved in software somehow.

I've been a licensed ham radio operator since 2005 and love it...well, I did when I was on the air. I recently moved and need to set up my rig again. The current obstacle I need to get past is that my yard is unfenced, so I have to worry about locating my antenna somewhere that I can comply with the FCC rules about radiated power. My whole yard is essentially an uncontrolled environment, because anyone could walk through. Anyway, that is a subject for the blog.

This blog will be a mix of software testing, ham radio, computer stuff, Linux, and other random thoughts. Basically, I reserve the right to write about anything and everything. :)

I hope something I write will be of interest and that you will enjoy it here.
