Welcome to my new blog! This blog is (or will be once real content is added) dedicated to software testing. Here I'll share my experiences and lessons learned with the world.

One of the things that I'd like to spend a lot of time on is CORBA testing. Frankly, I'm appalled at the lack of resources available for testing CORBA components. In my searching I've found very few articles and even fewer software test tools.

Since I am a big fan of Open Source software, this blog will mostly attempt to use such tools. However, that does not preclude that commercial tools will never be used, just that less focus will be given them.

So, just what will this blog be? It will be a combination of tool reviews, personal testing experiences, lessons learned in testing, cool bugs I've found, and so forth. Since my role at work is that of software test lead, and since our software is all CORBA based, then that's where I will focus. There will never be any company confidential information shared here, just general observations.

I look forward to getting this thing going and putting up useful information.
